Investment Management & Quantitative Finance
The financial services industry has high demand for professionals who can apply quantitative techniques to solve challenges in investment analysis and wealth management. The IMQF certificate program offered by UMass Boston delivers students a competitive advantage in this business. This certificate requires five essential courses and can be completed within one year. The curriculum is designed to provide students with core quantitative methods and data analytic skills necessary to succeed in the current investment and wealth management profession. The certificate program is ideal for working professionals and recent graduates who are seeking to develop new analytical skills to advance their career opportunities. Interested students may also choose to apply for a Master of Finance (MSF) or MBA degree after completing the certificate program, with most credits transferable to the MSF/MBA program.
Admission Requirements:
This program admits students in the fall semester only. Applicants must provide one letter of recommendation and proof of professional experience or a relevant bachelor's degree and a $75 fee. For more information, email gradcm@umb.edu.
