Who is the program for?
The accelerated program is open to any undergraduate student on campus.

How long does it take to complete the program?
With the 4 + 1 structure (4 years of undergraduate coursework and one year of graduate coursework), the program can be completed in as few as 5 years. *Courses must be taken during summer sessions to complete within the 5-year timeline. Students are not required to complete the program in 5 years; scheduling adjustments may be necessary within the undergraduate and/or graduate portion of the curriculum, which may lead to an extended timeline.

How many credits are required to complete the joint program?
The joint MBA consists of a total of 144 credits; 124 credits are completed during the undergraduate degree, with 12 of those credits being graduate-level coursework. 24 credits are then completed as a matriculated graduate student.

When can a student apply to the program?
Students may start the process at any time and submit the AMP Interest Form through the Registrar’s Office.

How to Apply?
Complete the Graduate Admissions online application and submit a resume, statement of intent essay, and two letters of recommendation. Applicants will also need to submit the GMAT/GRE waiver request form. The application fee will be waived.

Is there a minimum GPA needed to be considered for the program?
Yes. A GPA of at least 3.3 is required to be considered for admission into the accelerated program. 

Is there a minimum GPA to maintain once in the program?
Yes. All students must maintain an overall 3.0 GPA in graduate management courses.

What graduate courses will a student enroll in during their senior year?
First-semester senior year students will enroll in MBA MGT 650 Organizational Analysis and Skills for Managers and one elective course.* During the second semester of senior year, students will enroll in MBA MGT 660 Business and Its Environment and one elective course.*

Students are required to fulfill their undergraduate program-specific courses, and the graduate courses completed will apply to meet University's general elective requirements.

*To determine which elective courses should be taken, students will meet College of Management Graduate Programs Director of Operations Tara Norton.

Once completed, what degrees would a student receive?
Students will be awarded a Bachelor of Science degree when all undergraduate requirements are complete and a Master of Business Administration degree when all graduate-level requirements are complete.
